Re: Dawn of Worlds - Ethrum
Heart of Arkaenon's Forest
Arkaenon watched on as the spiteful's god creation were slowly being driven back by his children. The manalings turned the stray energy of both their dead and the dead of Klaamak, into more of their kind. Soon enogh the whole forest was teeming with the viscious and playful fae. It brought joy to him to see such a sight.
But something began to feel diffrent in the air and he rose up, his incoporeal form leaving a trail of indigo in his wake. The ground erupted and made way for the shinning pylon that stretched up to the sky. It had been too soon for such measures, yet he sensed the familiar taint of Klaamak upon this construction. With a scoff and some laughter, Arkaenon flew back to his own forest, knowing child-like manner this god wished to drain magic from the world. There was only one God of Magic here.
From within the heart of the forest, Arkaenon rose a tree stronger and thougher than any of the others. It grew and grew, gigantic in proportion even to the rest of the forest which was large in its own right. He imbued it with his own power and the tree blossomed with indigo flowers.
"You will be the heart of the forest. You will protect it and it will protect you. As you both grow, so will my power. Order shall reign."
Arkaenon's voice echoed across the forest and he entered the gigantic tree, drawing upon the magic of the world through the thousands of trees he erected.

Ainaran
Raising his mighty hammer, a call goes out. Echoing across the new plane, being heard by all gods of this world. He calls for a communion, one to speak upon the state of the world. This call is by the sound of his hammer falling upon his mighty anvil, a mass amount of energy following forth washing across the whole of the plane.
A bright white light firing high into the sky, as a realm is crafted for the gods. Each god instinctively knowing, that they have a portion of this realm to craft for themselves. This meeting place of the gods, crafted of gold and stone. In the center of the various gods areas a massive dais, surrounded by golden pillars reaching high into the sky. Each gods crest, being carved into the golden pillars. As one would speak out, to the others. Their crest would take form, slowly floating down into the center of the Dais.

Re: Dawn of Worlds - Ethrum
Xanthas, Turn Three
The little tributes bleeding from the carcasses of whatever sparsely distributed beasts of flesh roamed the primitive plane of Ethrum were to Xanthas like a trickle of water into the mouth of a parched traveller. A relief, but not enough.
It was apparent that the other deities were uninterested in the cycle of blood, and clearly were unaware of the intense euphoria its tribute gave. Xanthas would have to set the wheel in motion himself.
Rising out of the labyrinthine tunnels of his making, Xanthas emerged once more into the open air on the shores of the great lake above his subterranean domain. The divinely induced summer was in full heat and the sun burned bright. Far off, just perceptible in the distance there shone a brilliant white tower. To the east of that, a vast tree towering on the horizon.
Taking refuge from this affront, he pulsed into the deep waters of the lake and into the bowels of the world. As he departed, a great cloud of the Xanthite stone dispersed into the waters of the lake, staining it a dull, dusty red.
Surfacing many leagues away in the coastal planes of Ethrum, Xanthas set to sewing the seeds of life. He poured his essence into the spark of creation, and from it there birthed numerous beasts of flesh:
Into the waters there spread great shoals of gelatinous fish, rotund bottom feeders that fed on whatever fell to the sea floor. To feast upon them, there followed many predatory fish with black scales and rending teeth.
Onto the land there spawned herds of great, fat beetles that fed upon the plants and fruits of the soil. To hunt these beasts - and any other unfortunate souls who came across them - there crawled from soup of creation an abominable many-legged beast with a cunning intellect and a maw of dagger-like teeth.
Xanthas passed the products of his new work by and settled in the mountains of the west, eager to observe the results.

Affos, Turn Three
Affos gazed upon his large white tower and took pride in his creation. However, his creatures are in scattered around the world, with no food and knowledge to survive. So he went to the top of his towering temple and created a garden with lush green bushes and juicy fruits. It became a place where his servants (owls) would come and eat from it, share him the things they saw on the world.
Afterwards he rose to the very top and weaved his hands. Red energies flowed in his hands and as he threw them into the air, a sudden warm feeling came down the valley. It wasn't cold anymore.

Re: Dawn of Worlds - Ethrum
Fittingly enough, the god of forceful change brings with him the first of his scorned spawn to herald the beginning of this new dawn. The first of the dragons. Klagirruus is a truly unique beast, overshadowing all of others in terms of sheer size. The dragon's strength is found in its tail, not in its teeth, as the tip is blunt and club shaped, guaranteed to put a dent in even the strongest of metals.
This ferocious beast traverses Ethrum’s skies by night, when only a glint of moonlight can be caught in its obsidian tinted scales. From the day it was birthed, this fork-tongued monstrosity has always felt attracted to places of great cultural worth, claiming them if possible - otherwise destroying that which it cannot have in a jealous rage.
For this reason, it has come to rest at the base of the ivory pylon, guarding it fiercely.

EOROS
The banquet was eloquent and Eoros was loud. He basked in the company, the jape, the jest, the bristling of those that thought themselves orderly and the scoffs of those that valued themselves too highly. He shifted form at will, leaping about the realm with his never-ending goblet in hand.
He took the form of a young child, dressed in a ragged tunic and overcoat that once bore the semblance of regality that had grown worn and tattered with age. It hung on a thin frame, eyes a piercing yellow as they stared at the base of the planet. The very core. And the child's face spread into a toothless grin.
For it was then the sculptor began to work.

Xanthas, Turn Four
Xanthas continued on his spree of creation, gorging on the newfound energy erupting into Ethrum. Part of his essence he imparted to a swathe of desolate planar grassland north of Arkaenon's forest. Here Xanthas grew a garden of his own, a deep and tangled forest stretching far along the foothills of the eastern mountains. Dense and fertile, it would be a suitable place for the beasts of his creation to dwell.
Ever eager to tax more of the precious vitae, Xanthas created many vicious thorned bushes to spread and grow throughout the primal forest, so that they might catch and prick whatever mortal stumbled into them.
Here he spawned yet more beasts of flesh; another great insect of many legs, and several scaled and toothed beasts to feast on both the foliage and one another.
The more things live, the more they die, and the more blood flows.

Re: Dawn of Worlds - Ethrum
Life blooms in Arkaenon's forest
Arkaenon felt satisfaction in his ever-growing woodlands. He had nutured them from nothing, a mere thousand trees. But now they were millions, ever growing and singing in symphony amidst the mind of the Forest's Heart. Yet, as the manalings slowly grew in number, he recognized that it had been time for new life to be born and entered in the God of Magic's plan.
First he let a faint wave of energy wash across the land and with it, new plant life began to sprout. Thin blue bioluminecent grass littered the forest floor, durable and always emitting a faint glow when touched even slightly. The trees began to bear all kinds of diffrent fruits, both sweet and sour, heavy in the taste of raw magic. Fungi began to grow, upon the ground and the trees themselves, they were bioluminescent aswell.
The second wave was much stronger, giving birth to various lifeforms. Among the smallest were the brightly colored beetles, who fed on fungi and grass alike, but often attracted to where residual magic lingers. They were called Arakphits.
After them, the God of Magic created the large and muscular Boru, creatures with smooth pale skin, four arms and two bulky legs, who house colonies of fungi and Arakphits on their back. They fed on things that are dead, be it plant, fungi or animal.
As the second wave of energy slowly began to die out, the final creatures were revealed. Small and agile, they'd feed on the Arakphits and gather in nests. Arkaenon named them Skeeters.
And then there was a pause. A silence as the creatures began to buzz around the forest. Since their creation long ago, the woodlands had finally erupted with life and diversity.
But from the center of the forest a loud hiss echoed.. Signaling the creation of one final thing. A singular entity that all of the creatures within the forest could feel. A sense of comfort and dread filled them at times as it slithered through the forest, consuming whatever it pleased it.
"I live.. Setheliss lives to sserve the master Arkaenon."

Gwayn
The Faithful and the Giver continued expanding their paradise on earth. They brought form from mud and water and shaped small creatures from it. Their shrouds were bronze, their hands clawed and their eyes golden - they could fly from tree to tree , burrow into the ground and swim in the streams. They gave them a name and a purpose; Onveyn - Those who watch over the Land, The Lambarts - The lords of the Streams, The Romers - The servants of the Streams.
To their children, the Faithful and the Giver planted great thickets and pinewoods around the river and its vassal streams, which they also filled with fish. The Onveyn would watch over this land, until the first of Gwayn's would come. The Lambarts and Romers would fill the rivers and soon, the ocean.

JUDICUS
The skies streaked orange as it fell. Fire strew off its form, flung from the heavens - a suit of armour, bound together, nothing within it - yet fall it did, with all the force of a lance cast in spite from the highest part of the pantheon. The Temple stood little chance; the bolt struck it, and its foundations crumbled. Ethrium shook. The sea quaked.
And as the armoured figure stood, taking up a sword that burnt into existence from the air, it beheld the great wave that rose to greet it.
Planting his blade in the ground, the Knight of Justice sheltered the ruins of the structure around him as the sea consumed the land.

Affos, Turn Four
He looked at the catastrophe that occurred on the world, and his precious temple was shattered into bits. He was without a home, without strength. He was saddened, but what came after sadness was curiosity. He was overwhelmed by the sudden events that transpired without his knowing. Affos tried to figure out how to reveal these things before anyone. So... He made his ultimate contraption. The Scroll of Fate. With that Affos can foresee the faith of others and himself, he may change it using the scroll. However, he vowed he will never use it on a fellow deity, for that is a horrendous crime that you cannot pay for.
With the creation of the scroll he also built a gargantuan tower in the mountains, where he housed all of his books and literature, but his scroll was always by his side. When he created the tower he also changed the very climate around that area to a more colder and harsher one. He was no longer Affos, the god of wisdom. From that day on he was known as Bha'alen, the god of fate and literature.
Proof:

Re: Dawn of Worlds - Ethrum
As the great dragon renewed itself in the shade of the Pylon, traces of Ethrum's abstruse lifeblood got caught up in its obsidian plates, drawn toward it also, for the drake at its crux was a product of magic. At first, the effects were negligible, as Klagirruus was a mountainous horror of a beast indeed. Over time however, these scales started to gleam with occult potential, falling off one by one and embedding themselves into the inert soil of the enclave.
Fatigued, and hardly one to pay heed to detail, this went unnoticed to the First-Spawned. Ready to fall back into slumber, hot embers vented from its snout, the ashes spraying across the islet, raining down like the fine powder that fell in times of cold. To this, the dragon's hide flakes began to tremble - and soon they multiplied a thousand fold! But it did not stop at this, as the chips rearranged themselves as if by divine directive into oval shaped stones as black and dull as the darkest pit.
There they laid. Fifty-five stones cast astrew in the father's shade, and roll they did, each their seperate way...
And so, from the seeds of disarray were reaped the fruits of everlasting revolution.

Ainaran
Ainaran, looking over a peak of a mountain nods his head finding that the mountain would be permissible. Without a second thought, he began construction working for years on end the stone slowly taking shape. Masterful runes engraved all along the surface, of which at first seemed to be twin temples resting on either side at the height of the mountain. But it very quickly begins to change, the form shifting into that of Ainarans own two temples dawned upon its' shoulders. A monstrous hammer, engraved with deep runes all along it.
Finishing with his work, the god floats away extending his right hand over the monstrous mountain of stone. As he does so, every rune upon its' form alights red flowing across the plane blanketing it. Thunderous movement can be heard, the mountain begins to shift its' hollow eye-sockets filling with a dull orange glow. "I have awoken, what is your command, creator."

From amidst the Forest's Heart thousands of eggs began to crack and open, unveiling the children of Sethelis, brought forth by the will of the God of Magic. The Sethlisari, it was the name they took in honor of their god's avatar.
The Avatar taught them to speak in his tongue and educated them about their creator and their role as masters and protectors of Arkaenon's Woodlands. And a gift was bestowed upon them, it was the innate connection with magic. It ran through their veins deeply.

Re: Dawn of Worlds - Ethrum
Destiny
It must have been. From the day creation was brought into being by the First Power, countless spirits, great and small were adrift in the aether. A million, nay, more disembodied voices cried out, wild for the latent energy that was now abound. Yet, in a sea so big, some caught on sooner than others and in their gluttony, left little behind but a trace - a distant glimmer of divinity sticking out in the endless dark.
The discordant travelers were ensnared by its pull, but individually they were weak. Just as they couldn't go free, so too, the hungering souls could not lay claim of the power as they inched closer for much of eternity, until the very last of the doomed lot faded into its light and all things dark dispersed. A million, nay, more voices cried out, and then, as fate would have had it, consolidated into a single whisper in the void.
"We...are."
Born anew into a divine vessel, the infantile being made its slow descent through the atmosphere as a radiant celestial object raging through the nightsky. Heavens, and all that entailed, were consumed by a plane-smothering ring of sacred, outward expanding fire while the celestial plane cracked and tore itself into a multitude of pieces - no longer held in place by any one power and threatening to destabilize.
Breaking through the barrier, layer after layer of the god came unraveled, its holy skin dissipating into a red vapor not unlike blood until the being met the earth with a loud, thundering screech. From the impact a sinkhole was born, sending it plummeting further into the depths of the world, never so much as slowing. There it continued its descent for eleven days and nights, tumbling until even Ethrum's light could be seen no more.
As the dust was starting to settle on the mortal plane, the Thespian's roar fell silent, once more faded into the annals of obscurity. In the afterglow of its catastropic birth now stood a god in the dark. This...interloper could only guess what damage it had done, but too late it was to amend the grave misstep. With its wounds oozing great streams of blood, consciousness began to slip away and it fell into a deep slumber.
But even as it slept, its essence would not.

Aurora
There Aurora was, under the sea, gazing into her bowl. Colors twisted to form other colors. Yet, for a brief moment the vortex paused. The colors turned blue and then it happened. A torrent spewed from the bowl as it rose up. A maelstrom had been created in the center of the ocean. Aurora looked at her creation with joy. It would churn for ever without Godly intervention; sucking in anything that got near. She would call it The Taker. Yet, it was only the beginning of what was to come.
The sea would rumble again as something lurched out of the maelstrom. It was smaller then the Moon before it, but still just as large. It was pure red and would dance in the sky with its counter-part. The tides of strife it reflected; it was the Blood Moon.

Gwayn
The Faithful and the Giver turned their gaze upon the vibrant fields to the west and planted their seed there, too. Great, gigantic pines they planted there - followed by smaller firs and a smaller vassal stream.

Actions: Shape land x 4, massive pines and trees to the west from his harbourage, also a smaller river through it all.
